that glitch has been there since COD1. it doesn't show up often. they also can't pick up any weapons or ammo so once they run out, they just run around bashing. the correct thing to do is exactly what you did. kick them. when they rejoin , it's gone.

in all my years of playing and adminning COD, i've seen that glitch maybe ten times at most.
