Run key also picks up weapon from the ground

Often, when trying to run by pressing the F key, my character exchanges my weapon for one on the nearby ground. I don't want to change weapons, just beat feet out of Dodge! I find this terribly annoying. Am I doing something wrong or is there a workaround about which I'm not familiar? Is there some way to change the key used to pick up a new weapon?

This is a common problem, if you learn to jump first at such an area it usually helps, but until we find a work around, we are stuck for now. This message will be passed on to the owner of the server.

Hi,
Currently, it is not possible to change the F key. In the future, there might be a possibility.
As XX told you, you need to learn how to get around this by either jumping or shooting your weapon or even shooting using the weapon you picked up by mistake and returning to pick up your old weapon.
