Posted: Tue Feb 22, 2022 10:17 pmBTW, I recently tested with the Neuville map. The map downloaded and started, again screen went black and froze. I terminated COD, restarted it and changed Rendering Method Preference to Auto. then joined game. Same result, black frozen screen.

Posted: Wed Feb 23, 2022 8:41 pmNot sure. Bought the machine from a techie a few years back who built and configured it. I only play COD on it. I haven't needed to probe under the covers much. Can I use dxdiad to id the card and then search for drivers?

Posted: Thu Feb 24, 2022 5:23 pmYour hardware and DirectX look good, now we need to make sure there are no mods installed causing issues:
Delete all installed mods including kingbot and try again (leave only original COD2 files and folders). You must remember your username and password for the servers because you will have to rewrite them.
