Omaha 1.3 servers

When there are a lot of human players on Omaha the map will disconnect mid game. It doesnt happen with mostly bots, but when mostly human it usually always does.

Is this map going to be put back in? Not sure what the problem was with it as I never encountered anything while I played on it. Also Carentanville should be fixed/removed as it has become very laggy to play.

It was crashing the server. Though it seems other maps such as gob_rats also do this. It happens rarely.

I don't notice any lag on Carentanville but I use a very good PC. Do you mean FPS lag or ping lag? If FPS lag, what are your PC specs?

I don't think it's FPS lag as mine stays pretty consistent so I guess it's ping lag. There is a lot of connection interrupt messages while playing it. It used to be fine, just started a couple months ago I guess. I'm not the only one that it happens to as others have the said they have the same problem. Either connection interrupt messages or you'll get a lot of instances where you stop and end up somewhere else a second later which makes it hard to kill anyone.

My system is plenty powerful enough even if it's somewhat older. I have 2 HD6900 video cards and have Verizon FIOS internet and 16GB RAM.

While this topic is live, is there any way to put GOB Mice on the 1.3 servers? It used to be on custom server before that was taken down. Just a thought. I appreciate the servers and the admins/mods who help keep them running smoothly!

If you still have issues, try the following changes:
snaps 30
cl_maxpackets 100
rate 25000
