This forum website is being hijacked by people whose only interest is making money for themselves. The people acquiring accounts and posting these advertisements don't even play the game with us. It started with one forum topic and has been spreading to all the other forum topics lately like a virus. And like a contagious virus, if left unchecked, it will eventually suck all the life out of this forum.

This needs to be controlled so the rest of us can use the King-Clan forum for its intended purpose - exchanging valuable information relative to the King Clan and playing Cod 2. There are effective and relatively simple ways to stop this that have been used on other Cod2 clan forum websites. Badboy, let me know if you are interested in implementing these ways and I can show you what you can do.

BadBoy hasn't seemed to be around lately, but let me know what we can do and I'll see if my user permissions allow me to take care of it. For now I've enabled email verification for registrations, and I'm working on pruning the posts here.

Edit: Done. I've nuked the spam posts and spam accounts en masse, but I think one or two legitimate users were caught in that by accident. I apologize.
